VALIDUCTORY FUNCTION OF TECHZONE2K9 (A STATE LEVEL TECHNICAL SYMPOSIUM)

TECHZONE2k9-"where innovators are born" created a history with its grand success."Entire event was a grand success,Co-ordintors/volunteers know what exactly they were doing,they answered the queries before we could ask. we never felt as if we were here in shimoga we always thought as we were in our own city.we enjoyed a lot.we would like to come back here next time......." - is just a part of the feelings expressed by a friend from Anjuman College of Engineering before the commencement of the event on being asked,"how did you feel about the event?".

Chief Guest of the function were Dr.Sreedhar K.S (Chairman of Department of C.S.E,UBDT college of Engineering), Sri S.V Timmayya(Secretary of National Eucation Society(N.E.S)), Sri K.S Ashwath Narayana (Treasurer of N.E.S,chaairman of chamber of commerce& Industry,shimoga).Aradhana & Prasanna anchored the function. Bharathi& Vaishnavi provided a melodious beginning to the function by praying lord krishna.Brief Overview of TECHZONE2K9 was given by IEI(Institute of Engineers(India)) staff convenor Mrs Sunitha mam(of E.E DEPT).85 papers were received from IS/CS stream.out of them 45 were selected & called to give presentation.47/60 In Electrical,22/25 in mechanical & 36 papers in E.C. 7 in Civil.

TECHZONE2K9 report was given by IE(I) student convener Lohith H.M(8th C S).More than 250 students from over 25 colleges have participated in the event.More than 250 for treasure hunt(including JNN participants),more than 160 for Brainiz(G.K Quiz), More than 150 students for Programme debugging,over 100 for Circuit Debugging,60 for spot Designing,And also in good number for Model exhibition.From the number one can smell the taste of succeess of the event.

Dr. Shridhar K.S, expressed his feelings as "ONE AMONG YOU" & felt very happy to inform that he did his PHD in JNNCE itself.He said smilingly ".....When I came in morning, everyone was saying shimoga is very hot.About 12 o'clock almost everyone was nearly wetted by sweating.But by 3 o'clock seeing the enthusiasm of Participants & co-Ordinators& Volunteers Sun himself accepted defeat & hided behind clods..... "-(about the cloudy nature for the first time in the recent past after a hot summer).Highlights of his speech are IT(Indian Talent)," knowledge Revolution","....Multitasking will survive in industry...".The need to support other authors presenting paper after our paper is over,SIncerity in the efforts,"Adding Value to the paper...",self analysis,Adding Originality..."Recession is not for India & China..",He recalled the The American President Mr. Obama praising Indian Prime Minister Mr. Manmohan Singh for maintaininng economic stability of India. He Concluded his speech with a beautiful messge- "Remember the contribution of your parents,teachers.They you can conquer the world".


Mr.Ashwath Narayan gave a call to make beat use of abundantly available opurtunities.

Beloved Principal Of the college Dr.Srinivas Rao Kunte also advised to participate in events & make best use of Institutions like IE(I),IETE .And gave interesting info about those.
